Symmetry Designs

I think i may have done this assignment wrong or misinterpreted the instructions. I did a series of three with the same object then changed the object and did another series of designs. If i need to redo the thumbnails i definitely can.

i think the one i like the most is the crayon crayola because it’s more fun and exciting. i could add a more fun background to any of the designs to jazz it up a bit.

Maryville HS Walk

Walking through the Maryville High School campus i noticed its similarities to the college here in Maryville. All the buildings are made of the same small red brick. There was emphasis on the office and offices of admission with a green awning and paved path ways. The fact that the football field is strategically placed near the busiest street in Maryville, shows the importantce of the sport at the high school. As if the reputation wasn’t enough. The school it self looks like a mess; buildings are scatered everywhere in extremely close proximity and they have all different sizes and shapes. Personally i felt like the brick construction was inviting and prestigious but the misshaped sharp edges make it less appealing and revolting to the eye. The gates that surround the campus also make it feel isolated and selective.
